Love: The Madness of the Gods
Alchemical Theatre Laboratory (104 W 14th Street)
Tuesday, September 27 at 7:00pm
It can be tough getting someone you like to fall in love with you. But helping other people fall in love? That’s even more daunting. Especially when you’re dealing with personal drama of your own, your brothers and sisters can’t stop squabbling, and the future of the earth hangs in the balance.
You know, standard deity stuff.
Halfway Decent is thrilled to announce the first public New York workshop presentation of Love: The Madness of the Gods. Three Greek gods have descended to earth for a chat about love. They’ve got a lot on their minds and a bone to pick with humanity. Drawing on mythology, classical writings, ancient and modern poetry, and more, their stories illuminate the pain, ecstasy, and absurdity of the experience of being completely and utterly head over heels.
Tickets are free and seating is highly limited, so RSVPs are strongly encouraged. Simply send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org including your name and the number of persons in your party who will be in attendance. For other inquiries, including press materials and related information, please email Josh Boerman, Decent Company’s producing director, at email@example.com.

Come on out and we’ll scare the pants off ya.
